PursuitAlert

PursuitAlert is an app which, once installed, will notify you of high speed pursuits happening in your area. PursuitAlert only requires the one-time action of downloading the PursuitAlert App for your device. Once done, the user will receive the notifications automatically whenever they enter the range of a pursuit. This service will be in effect for any participating state, county or municipal law enforcement agency in the U.S. Thus, the service will continue to work as the user passes through various participating territories around the country.
Users can pull up a map that will show their current location. If a pursuit is active, a red circle will show around their location showing where the pursuit may be located. If an emergency vehicle is coming, it will show the last 3 locations of the vehicle. Users may use the app to help police stations by reporting any type of incidents. The user's current location will be noted, along with a description of the incident and optional contact information. The incident will be shown on the map and will be reported to the subscribed police station for follow-up.
