What is it about?

The Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL) project is designed to be fully post-quantum secure using PQ-CRYPTO recommended/IETF standard cryptography. The QRL utilises a hash-based one-time eXtended Merkle Signature Scheme (XMSS) instead of ECDSA found in other blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum which is regarded as not being Quantum Resistant. Our implimentation is backed by multiple third-party audits from red4sec and x41 D-sec.

App Store Description

You can

- Manage multiple wallets
- Send / Recieve Quanta
- View your balance
- View your transaction history
- Instantiate a wallet from the webwallet through a QR code
- Set a lockscreen

Private keys associated with the users wallets are only stored on the users device and not on any third-party server. Sending Quanta end-to-end is fully post-quantum secure even through networks that utilize ECDSA.

While we've taken every step to ensure the security of our mobile wallets, they should be treated as 'hot-wallets', which is similar to how wallets work in real life where you wouldn't keep your life savings in them. For long-term storage, it's recommended to use the Ledger Nano S.
