Take a photo of both sides of the banknote you like to check and in overlay view you can see if there are differences between the trusted model ( from ECB website) and your banknote.

TOUCH
Choosing the value of your banknote, R€D will show where and how you have to touch your banknote and what is the feedback your finger have to receive.

TRANSPARENCY
It's the most powerful feature of the app.
R€D will show you a black screen, lighting just the correct transparency pattern.
You can put your banknote over the screen and move it until the transparency pattern don't match.

If it don't, it a counterfeit euro banknote.

DETAILS
In real banknotes there are some lines that are non real lines, but they are a lot really small words.
R€D let you identify the location of the lines and using the Hi-Res Camera of your phone, to take a photo of your banknote, zooming the photo and check if they are words or simple lines.

If they are just lines, it a counterfeit banknote.

ONLINE CHECK
Last power of R€D it's to verify if the serial number of your banknote, it's in the police archive.
Just write the serial number of your banknote to know if it's in the Counterfeit Banknote Police Archive.
