The Recording Asset Damage and Restoration (RADAR) app is available for download by invitation only to staff of the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR), local government authorities and contractors working on TMR’s Natural Disaster Program.
The RADAR app is used to collect and manage damage photographs and related information used to deliver value-for-money repair works and support funding claims.
Benefits of the RADAR mobile app:
• Capture damage evidence consistently
• Take damage photos with GPS and chainage
• Simple site form to record damage details (optional)
• Has online and offline maps
• Can be used with or without mobile coverage
• Integrates with existing TMR systems.
Data collected using the RADAR mobile app is uploaded to the cloud and downloaded to a desktop computer, where it is used to assess the damage and determine the scope of repair works.
The RADAR app is simple to use. Download the app to your mobile device and start capturing photos and data in the field.
