يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ

Dua for 2nd Ashra (عشرة دوم) of the Ramadan Kareem:
اَسْتَغْفِرُاللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ ذَنْبٍ وَّاَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ

Dua for 3rd Ashra (عشرة سوم) of the Ramadan Kareem:
اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Ramadan is the 9th month of Islamic calendar, a month of fasting. In this Holy Month of Ramadan Muslims start fasting to gain Pleasure and Blessing of Allah. The word “Ramadan” came from the Arabic language which means scorching heat or dryness.

Hazrat Abu Huraira(R.A) reported that: The Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad صلى اللّٰه عليه وآله وسلم, said,

“On the first night of the holy month of Ramadan, the devils are chained, the jinns are restrained, and the gates of hellfire are closed and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates are closed. A caller announces: O seekers of good, come near! O seekers of evil, stop short! Allah will save them from the hellfire and that is during every night of Ramadan.” (Sunan At-Tirmidhi, 682).
