The Redeemed Christian Church of God, International Chapel, Queens New York was founded on October 24th, 1999. About 4 years later, on the 23rd of March, 2003 Pastor Olusegun Obed retired from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and the mantle fell on Pastor (Dr.) Olayinka Alamu as the new Pastor-In-Charge of the Parish.

Pastor (Dr.) Olayinka Alamu is the Charismatic servant-leader with a heart for people and a passion for transforming lives and building Godly families. The Church has planted other churches and has grown with a vibrant youth and children ministry.
