A portal to recordings of French poems used in mélodies read by Elise Lefay, language coach for singers.
• Poems are read slowly and clearly with singing in mind
• Includes liaisons, elisions and follows the way composers set words to music.
• 57 poems are now available, requests for new material are accepted, new texts are added regularly.
• Recordings can be accessible off-line to practice anywhere
• Tracks can be paused to allow time to repeat words.
Elise Lefay, French soprano,
currently teaches languages and phonetics for singers at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and coached ensembles such as the BBC Singers, BBC Symphony Chorus and opera companies (Nevill Holt, Meantime, Goldopera).
