Thomas Fortune Cultural Center, the app provides information on historically and culturally significant locations in town, with pictures, audio recordings, and stories that bring Red Bank's uniquely rich history to life.

Upon launch, you will be able to experience our very first tour, “In the Footsteps of Count Basie.” Explore the life of Count Basie, the “Kid from Red Bank,” while learning about influential Black Americans who lived in and visited 20th century Red Bank. More tours will be released in the future!

- Find history anywhere in Red Bank with the History Near Me feature! This easy-to-use feature displays the closest historical sites in our database to your current location, making it easy to carve your own path through history. More historical sites to come!

- Each tour site has photos and a brief description, as well as audio narration of the description. Citations are provided at the bottom of each description for further reading.
