Circus Advertising via its Research Department has developed Red Knows to be able to conduct qualitative and quantitative surveys with a specifically approved panel of participants.

Potential respondents who are interested to participate in the survey will be able to download the app. Before having access to the survey, all potential respondents will have to complete the registration phase.



The registration phase is highly important for the following reasons:

1. To determine which population segment the respondent is

2. Surveys can be accessible to all registered participants or a specific profile. Hence, to determine the right audience, we will need to select the eligible participants for the survey. For example, if we want to launch a survey for only respondents aged between 18 – 24 years old, the information on the registration form allows us to do so to selected the right participants.

All information collected from the registration phase allows us to target any specific consumers we wish to interview

3. Registration phase helps us in our report analysis to define specific segments profile

NOTE: No personal data is shared to a third party or our clients

Below are the main reasons for each question:

1. Date Birth: To determine the age category [Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X and Baby Boomers]

2. Gender: Male or Female [For some specific survey, we will need to interview only female participants]

3. Marital Status: Example, married respondents behave differently from single individuals in terms of purchase or even consumption

4. Phone no: Via the phone number, once a survey a specific survey is launched, it will be only those selected that will receive the survey notification and it is used an identification for us to cross analyze with the profile

5. Address: To determine between a rural or urban region. Some survey may be targeted to a specific panel of participants living in urban/rural regions

6. Profession and income range: Helps to determine the social-economic class. Example, surveys may be only eligible to a category of participants that have the purchasing power to purchase a specific brand



Once a participant has registered and we validate his/her profile, Circus Advertising activates the account and they will receive a notification for any active survey that they are eligible to participate. They will be able to log on the app with using their phone number as username and password [created by during registration phase]


Example of surveys: Ethnography exercises, logo testing, media consumption, consumption pattern, etc…

Red Knows helps Circus Advertising to gain instant valuable new insights from all consumers or a specific audience at the right moment and on the go. Various surveys can be launch on behalf of the clients and collect instantaneous data/insights from a specific audience [data collected from the registration phase]


Participants will receive a notification to survey that only he/she is eligible to complete. All respondents who have completed a survey will receive mobile data pack [number from the registration phase] as from of incentive for their participation.

All data collected are treated in strict confidentiality and as aligned with the Data Protection Act Mauritius 2017.
