Use RemoteVet video chat to practice telemedicine, offering convenient and personal care for your clients while facilitating more appointments for your practice.

RemoteVet is a free service for veterinary professionals.


FEATURES:

- Host live, 2-way video chat sessions with your clients, perfect for telehealth and telemedicine.

- Participate in live, 2-way regular (non-video) chat with your clients.

- Make and receive phone calls to and from clients on your mobile phone, with your practice appearing as the caller*.

*Please note that this feature ONLY works if you’ve successfully completed caller validation with VINx! Otherwise your mobile phone number will appear as the caller. Contact us at VINxSupport@vin.com to confirm or get started.

- Send and receive text messages to and from clients on your mobile phone, with your practice appearing as the sender**.

**Please note that this feature ONLY works if you have a texting number set up with VINx or are using VetTools Origin landline texting! Otherwise your mobile phone number will appear as the sender. Contact us at VINxSupport@vin.com to confirm or get started.


REQUIREMENTS:

- You must be a veterinary professional with a VIN (Veterinary Information Network)* or VSPN (Veterinary Support Personnel Network) membership in order to log in to and use this app.

- *Veterinarians may use either a full OR a free, limited VIN membership. VSPN memberships are for support team members and are free.

- Your clients must download the free accompanying, client-facing “MyVetRemote” app in order to communicate with you via this service.

- A VCPR (veterinarian-client-patient-relationship) must be in place in order to practice telemedicine. Please refer to national laws and state practice acts to ensure you’re following them.
