While other location-based social platforms answer the question “Where’s Jim?”, Rendezvous wants to help you find out “Who’s in the Gym?” With the goal of encouraging more get-togethers with your friends, Rendezvous offers you a way to see which of your friends are in your favorite spots without having to share your exact location at all times.

Sign up, add your friends, and choose which places you want to keep tabs on, and you be up and running. Just got out of work for the weekend and want to know who’s at your favorite watering hole? Open up Rendezvous and check so that you can ask your crew to save you a spot at the bar. Looking down the barrel of an all-nighter because you have to write that paper you had 3 weeks to research? Fire up the app and see which of your fellow classmates are in the library already stocking up on K-Cups.

You’ll also have control over which of your friends will be able to see you where. So if don’t want that weirdo knowing you’re working in your favorite coffee shop, but also don’t have the heart to ‘unfriend’ them, or you called in sick and you don’t want your coworkers knowing you dumped your shift on them so that you could go to that concert—no problem at all! Just toggle their visibility permissions.
