It is crucial to all of us at Rescufy that anyone who lives with severe allergies feels confident that they can get the help they need in the event of anaphylaxis, when they need it most. That is why the Rescufy app is now free to download and use at any time.
If you have suffered through anaphylaxis, or are a caregiver who has helped someone with severe allergies, you know that time and information are essential to getting the right kind of help during an emergency. The Rescufy App immediately gets you help and communicates vitally important allergy, medical, insurance and location information to emergency responders and your designated emergency contacts.
After initial registration, the Rescufy App is there to help. In the event of anaphylaxis, inject Epinephrine as instructed by your physician and tap the “Get Help Now” button. Text messages containing your street address and GPS location, medical information, and contact info will be automatically be sent to the emergency responder (recommended to be 9-1-1) and the emergency contacts you have set up during registration. Once help arrives, you can easily use the App to share the medical information that is needed to get you the help you require. Key information also remains on-screen for emergency room personnel in the event you are incapacitated.
Make Rescufy part of your Anaphylaxis Action Plan today by subscribing and gaining peace of mind in the event of a severe allergy episode.
A few notes about Text to 9-1-1:
• Text to 9-1-1 is not yet available in all areas.
• In the event it is not available, you will receive a bounce back message to call 9-1-1 directly. Rescufy will still text your emergency contacts, regardless of the availability of Text to 9-1-1.
• Rescufy requires that location services are running in the background for the App to pull your geographic location when the “Get Help Now” button is pressed.
