Our focus at Resideo is on making sure that every home is safe, comfortable, efficient, and secure. Resideo Home is the place where we are bringing together all our connected product experiences under one roof to help fulfill that vision.

We are starting to build that vision first with two super-smart water-focused products:

Our Water Leak and Freeze Detector allows you to protect the places and systems in your home that are most vulnerable to leaks so you can respond quickly and decisively when something needs attention. Placed near appliances like dishwashers or HVAC units, it will notify you of even the smallest leak so you can take action.

The Water Leak and Freeze Detector and the Resideo Home app can:

+ Notify you when a leak is detected with an audible siren and via notifications on your mobile device through the app

+ Help you track humidity and temperature around where the device is located to make sure that you are keeping within the range that is important to you


Our most advanced water solution, however, is the Buoy Whole Home Water Controller. With the Controller installed on your home's main water line, the Resideo Home app helps you manage your water and protect your home.

As soon as the Buoy Whole Home Water Controller is installed and connected to your home’s WiFi network, it starts flexing its machine-learning muscles to begin identifying where you’re using water, detect unusual usage, and alert you to potential problems. The machine learning algorithm can identify water usage from showers, sinks, lawn irrigation, toilets, washing machines and other water types of home water usage.

Most importantly, Buoy Whole Home Water Controller allows you to shut off your water valve remotely or set up thresholds for water usage in advance so your Buoy Whole Home Water Controller can shut off the water on your behalf automatically if the threshold is reached.
