App Store Description
Rhyno is a simple app for checking whether or not your Myki card will allow you to travel on public transport in Melbourne. It is made with the offline traveller in mind. It's easy to understand and delightful to use. Checking your balance has never been this straightforward or fun!
Simply connect your Myki account, and Rhyno will show your card's status, be it Myki money or Myki pass. For managing multiple cards, you can assign each one a coloured label to help understand which one is which.
Rhyno obviously needs a registered Myki account to work.
Widgets enable you to glance at your card's balances at any moment. If you really want to up the game, you can build your own shortcut in the Shortcuts app using Rhyno's actions.
Rhyno will show a reminder to top up in Notification Centre when your main card’s balance or pass is running out.
Robust VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support makes Rhyno a fully accessible member of the odd-toed ungulate order of mammals.
Rhyno proudly boasts:
• no ads,
• no creepy tracking or analytics,
• no back-end server as a middle-man (all processing and logic is run on-device),
• no imported code.
Rhyno is lovingly coded by hand in Melbourne.
