App Store Description

We all get busy. We all get sidetracked. When that happens, we can forget to let our employees know on a regular basis how much we appreciate them.

Gallup reports that the highest levels of employee engagement & productivity come from a team member being recognized once every 7-10 days. Sound like a lot to keep track of? Not with Rise.

Rise is intentionally designed as a simple reminder app for busy managers to make sure no employee goes for an extended period of time without hearing some form of praise from the person they need it from the most: YOU.

Rise helps you keep track of your employees, and shows you the last time they received recognition, what it was for, and how they were recognized.

Getting started is easy, and can be done in 3 simple steps:

STEP 1 - ADD YOUR PEOPLE TO THE APP

Tap the “+” at the top right corner of the home screen. Enter the person’s full name. To enter another person, tap “Save and Add Another.” When your whole team is entered, tap “Save.”

STEP 2 - ADD A NOTE BY TAPPING ON THAT PERSON'S NAME

Record WHAT they did to earn recognition; maybe they covered a shift, gave a great customer experience, or went above and beyond the call of duty. Record HOW you praised them; with a handwritten SpotOn Card, public praise in a meeting, or in a weekly one-to-one. Record WHEN you praised them; nothing to do here! Rise takes care of all that for you, and then reminds you to recognize that person again after a set number of days pass.

STEP 3 - PERSONALIZE YOUR SETTINGS

Pick the number of days between reminders (we recommend 7-10). If you don’t like to call them “Employees” change the name to “Associates” or “Team Members” or “Kittens” or whatever. You’ll also find an easy way to contact MyEmployees under “Get in Touch.”

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that 87% of employees worldwide are not engaged or actively disengaged at work? That means they could care less about their performance while on your clock.

Did you know that 47% of your high performers are thinking about leaving you right now? The people you depend on most are testing the waters elsewhere and checking out greener pastures.

Did you know you have the power to fix those statistics in your business?

IT ALL STARTS WITH RECOGNITION.

One more “Did you know…” Did you know 65% of employees said they’d received no recognition from their manager or supervisor in the last year? No wonder they’re disengaged. They don’t think their work and effort matter because no one is telling them so.

Remember this concept: What gets rewarded, gets repeated. Recognition is the simplest, most effective form of reward you can offer.

So how often should you recognize someone? The easy answer is whenever they do something worth recognizing!

What you don’t want to happen is to have long gaps between individual recognition. In fact, a good rule of thumb says that you should recognize an employee once every 7 days. Find something worthwhile and make sure they get a pat on the back for it.

Now let’s say you’ve got 10, 20, 100 employees… or more. How are you ever going to remember who you recognized, what for, and when?

That’s why we created Rise. This way, you can keep track of the recognition you’re providing your employees. Rise helps you keep track of your employees, and shows you the last time they received recognition, what it was for, and how they were recognized.

Through regular recognition, you’ll see employees with greater job satisfaction, and that leads to greater customer satisfaction. All of that means better performance for them and higher profitability for you.
