App Store Description

Rulo Squares is a puzzle app that is seemingly simple, but which will baffle you and challenge your intellectual abilities.

The puzzle consists of a square grid of colored squares, within a larger square grid. The squares can be slid horizontally or vertically to shuffle them. The aim is to restore the smaller grids each to a single color.

The mechanics of the sliding squares are:
1. If a row is slid horizontally, then all squares in that row across the larger puzzle are also slid together.
2. If a row is at the top or bottom of its smaller grid, then the adjacent row in the next grid also slides with it.
3. The whole puzzle "wraps around", so that that opposite sides are connected, eg The very top row moves the very bottom row (and vice versa).

This connectivity of the rows and columns is what makes the puzzle very challenging, as sliding one row impacts other rows, and all the columns that they intersect.

You may wish to start simply by sliding a few rows and columns at random, and then trying to reverse your moves. But when you are ready for a real challenge, press the “Shuffle” button, and the app will shuffle the squares for you.

You will find that even restoring one grid is not that simple, and restoring all grids may be out of the reach of most people.

...and then there is "extreme" mode....

That’s it. Good luck!.... (although you will find luck has little to do with it).
