Run For India is an app that helps runners train for half marathon. This app is exclusively available for runners registered with Association for India’s Development Bay Area Run For India (BARFI) program. Only the users registered with BARFI program would be able to use the app. The sign up process validates email addres that was registered with BARFI. The app content will be administered by designated coach. The app will have daily routine, stretches, exercises/activities that need to be performed. It will also have detailed instructions on each activity and will guide the participants with exercise routines and run plan. The app sends notifications/reminders about the run schedule and other stretching, exercises to be performed for the day. These exercises would help build core muscle strength to be a better runner and avoid any injuries. The participants need to mark the activity as Done once completed, if not it will be marked as Overdue.
