SafeTrip

SafeTrip is designed for those who want to know their friends, family and loved ones arrive safely at their destination. With built in smarts that automatically send out and SOS alert to their emergency contact when you go of route, you have not arrived in a set time, or you missed a scheduled check in.
A per trip set and forget app, to help you feel safe knowing someone has your back if anything goes wrong. Safe trip uses one-of-a-kind emergency preferences to allow everyone to define their own emergency criteria.
These user preferences are based off the following:
Time past ETA. If the user does not arrive at their intended destination in the time allowed an SOS alert will be sent.
Off route tracking. If the user strays too far from their intended route it will automatically send an SOS to the emergency contact that the user is heading somewhere, they don’t intend to.
Timer based tracking. The users select the interval time they wish to check in on, if a check in is missed, an SOS alert will automatically be sent to the emergency contacts.
To ensure an alert isn’t missed, SafeTrip will automatically continue to send notification to the Emergency Contacts every 5 minutes until either yourself or your contact marks you as safe.
Don’t worry, If a trip is active and the users phone breaks, runs out of battery or loses signal, SafeTrip will continue working at the back end, to ensure if your emergency preferences are triggered your last known location will be sent to your emergency contact.
With both open and closed modes, it allows for greater flexibility in how much information you share with your contacts.
Open Mode: All alerts will provide your destination address details. Giving the emergency contact plenty of information.
Private Mode: Your emergency contact will be notified when you start a trip, however the app will not share your destination address. The only time SafeTrip will share your information is if
With SafeTrip you will be able to see the last 10 trip notifications, ensuring even if you accidently dismiss an alert you can rest assured you can see it in the app.
