IN2 Access & Control Ltd. specialise in the supply and manufacture of automatic door and gate safety, sensing and access control equipment throughout the UK and Ireland.
With heightened anxiety in the marketplace following the two gate fatalities in 2010, it is essential that all automatic door and gates are safely installed. The IN2 Access & Control Ltd. “Safety Selector App” has been designed for installers and maintainers of automatic gates and industrial doors to make the job of specifying safety edges and controllers as simple as possible.
Your Contact Details
The app allows the user to enter their full contact details including name, address, email and contact number in order for us to process their quotation request.
Product Selector
The safety selector section gives the user the ability to make an informed choice regarding the rubber profile size, of which there are 11 to choose from, with the dimensional diagrams on each of the profile selection pages. They are then able to enter the exact size and type required (i.e. 8K2 Ohm resistive or 2 cable straight through safe edge) and supply cable length (i.e. 2m, 4m, 7m or 10m).
Once the user has chosen their edges they are able to select one or more Safety edge controllers to go with it (i.e. Wireless, CAT2/PL c, CAT3/PL d/e according to EN ISO 13849-1:2008 etc), from 12 variants.
Safety Info
This allows the user to download safety information when 3/4G signal or Wi-Fi is available detailing the Door Hardware Federation Guide to gate safety legislation and standards, various HSE safety bulletins and the HSE “5 steps to risk assessment”
Ref Guides
The reference guide selection allows offline access to quick reference/setup guides for the Bircher Reglomat safety controllers making installations much easier. Quick reference guides currently include the ESGate 2/3 fixed safety edge controller, Intra 6-2 and Intra 6-3 inductive transmission system, as well as the RFGate 2.2 wireless safe edge systems.
Review & Send Request
Once all of the users contact information and product requirements have been entered, including any additional information and photographs, the user can send this data for a quotation which will ensure pricing is waiting for them when returning to the office. Once an order number has been received, goods are generally dispatched the same day depending on time received.
