Whether you’re at the event, or watching from the comfort of your home, you’ll now have access to an immersive live Virtual Reality viewing experience. Move your device to follow the live race, watching from any viewpoint and interact with the boats to never miss a moment of the action.
GET UP CLOSE WITH AN F50
SailGP are bringing the F50s to life, with a 3D Augmented Reality Experience. Allowing fans to take a tour around your favourite teams F50 (yes from anywhere in the world), capture a selfie and post on social.
FOLLOW THE ELITE TEAMS
Ten teams battle it out; Australia, Canada, Emirates GBR, France, Germany, New Zealand, Rockwool Denmark, Spain, Switzerland and United States.
Switch teams mid-race, to compare how the other boats are getting on. You can also compare two teams together at the same time - monitoring the data, speed and performance of both boats, side by side, all on one screen.
EARN EXCLUSIVE REWARDS AND COLLECTIBLES
Complete activities within the app and earn points to gain access to exclusive discounts, rewards and experiences. Earn points by engaging in personalised content, including hand-picked articles and behind-the-scenes footage.
PACKED WITH REAL TIME DATA
Each boat is fitted with 1,200 data points, tracking every second of the race and syncing with your SailGP app in real time. As the teams battle it out to reach the finish line first, you'll be able to customise the app, to view the data and stats that interest you the most. From Wind Speed and Velocity Made Good, to Time To Mark and Leg Number, just tap any stat in the app.
CHANGE VIEWS AND CAMERA ANGLES
Choose how you view the race by tailoring the stats that you see on your screen. Default mode includes a larger video with less stats or you can opt for Advanced mode which makes the video smaller and shows you lots more data.
NO SPOILER MODE
As SailGP operates across multiple time zones, you have the option to turn off spoilers and hide all results until you have watched the race.
