SALGA Mobi

The SALGA Municipal Barometer is a database that contains development data for the local government sector.
This application allows for a reliable broadband channel to access this information via a Smart Mobile phone. The data stored on the Municipal Barometer allows for users to access this data in an easy to interpret graphic format with added features of email distribution. This function allows users to email the information to other users or platforms with email functionality in a seamless way.
The data is organised in thematic areas of demographics, finances, Economic Development, access to basic services, access to social services and benchmarked outputs related to municipal performance across 19 indicators. The product is co-funded by the European Union. Additional modules will be added to service local government and stakeholders when funding and shared implementation opportunities arise
