San Felipe Fort

Travel through the history of the largest fort built by the Spanish colony in America, SAN FELIPE DE BARAJAS, in which the historical events that took place in the walled city for over 300 years ago are revive; learn about its strange construction, the materials used and the slave labor, plus the attacks of the most fearsome pirates: Frenchman Jean Bernard Des Jeans, Baron Pointies and English Admiral Sir Edward Vernon who arrived in Cartagena with an invincible armada of 180 ships and 23,000 men. Also learn about the battle of the Peacemaker Murillo against the city and the defense of Don Blas de Lezo.

There are 32 stations in total, spread over 7 defensive batteries of San Felipe de Barajas Fort.
