SATYA - cooperative platform

SATYA is an alternative social network based on real world cooperation. We want you to connect with people who share common places and interests, in order to improve your life and make a better society.

Here, every user participates in two groups: community and city. The Community-neighborhood group is formed by matching the user´s common zip / Postal codes with the zip / postal code of other users, gathering people who live around you without the need of direct invitation.
This group is designed for community issues, where members can share four types of posts: selling, searching, alarm or publication.

The city group is focused on events and meetings, displayed on an open map. Any user can send a public event or meeting, which will be displayed to any other member of the city group. We do not use geo-localization to send events and meetings, but your current location is easily seen on the map.

You can filter the events in your city in three ways: by today's events, all events posted, or events tagged with your favorite hashtags.

When registering, every user must choose at least 5 hashtags of interest: whether a music style, sports, educational themes, etc. In this way, when another member of the city group sends an event with the hashtag you follow, it will appear in your City group feed.


In your Profile, you can:

- Change city and zip / Postal code whenever you want.
- The agenda displays the events you are participating.
- The QR code is designed to spread the SATYA platform outside the virtual space to your neighbors.


The notifications are simple and intuitive. It shows who commented on your publications, events, and if your content has been deleted. And since neither group has any owner or centralized moderation, every user can report content that doesn't respect the rules, or an event out of your city, or a fake event. You can also report bad publications in the Community group, or report people who don't live in the zip code. Therefore, every profile must have a real picture of the member, otherwise won´t be accepted in our platform.


In SATYA people do not need to know each other directly to communicate, since common interests (hashtags) and common places (map and neighborhood) make the bridge between them. We believe that there is a lot to benefit from new connections, because people surely have similar ideas, and can cooperate for the common good.

So, in order to improve society, we need to start organizing ourselves. Soon, there will be new tools for alternative economy, politics and information.
