1. About ScanVid

ScanVid - One-Click Video

How it works: Once the ScanVid scanner has detected a barcode it will play immidiately a video in your default language.

ScanVid currently recognizes 20 million different products and barcodes. In case that ScanVid should not find a scanned barcode in our database, then you simply add it once to the ScanVid database, see the Video and share it with friends and the ScanVid community.

Use ScanVid to watch the following videos:
- Game trailer
- Movies- and cinema trailer
- Cooking and baking videos
- Explaination and product videos for cosmetics, electrical appliances, tools & equipment
- Review videos

2. IOS Smartphone version and support

ScanVid was tested with the following versions of IOS and smartphones:

Smartphones:
- iPhone 4s,

ScanVid accesses the following smartphone resources:
- Take pictures and videos (Used for barcode scanner)
- Approximate location (network-based), precise location (GPS and network based) (used to show videos in your language)
- Modify or delete the contents of your USB storage (used to save the language settings on your smartphone)
- View network connections (used to test the Internet connection)
- Full network access (used to retrieve videos)
- View Wi-Fi connections (used to test the Internet connection)
- Control flash (used for the barcode scanner)
- Test access to protected storage (used to save the language settings on your smartphone)
