App Store Description

The SCIFOG mobile app is an electronic reference of the South Carolina Interoperability Field Operations Guide. The SCIFOG is a technical reference for emergency communications planning and for radio technicians responsible for radios that will be used in disaster response. It includes rules and regulations for use by the State of South Carolina and other interoperability channels, tables of frequencies and standard channel names, and other reference material.

The SCIFOG mobile app gives users easy access to public safety communications information, offering a content index with links for quick jumps to reference sections, tables, figures, or images. The ability to save Favorites and create in-line notes enables personalized access to critical information. SCIFOG can be downloaded and then taken to the field as an offline reference, to be used without the need of an Internet connection.

SCIFOG was developed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) under the Interoperable Communications Technical Assistance Program (ICTAP).
