It's simple to use - you just point and go! It includes a choice of Map or Satellite image in-view and a Search function to assist locating things.
Once downloaded no wi-fi or cellular network connection is necessary, so you can use when out and about where there is no or poor signal coverage.
This version is for the Scottish Highlands and locates places in and around the north west of Scotland. It reaches a rectangle stretching at its northern and eastern most edges to the coast at John o'Groats, in fact the UK mainland's most northerly point. All areas within the region are covered including Aviemore, Braemar, Cromarty, Dornoch, Dunvagen, Durness, Fort William, Gairloch, Glencoe, Glenfinnan, Kinguisse, Inverness, Lochinver, Mallaig, Nairn, Newtonmore, Plockton, Portree, Torridon, Turso, Ullapool and Wick.
In fact there are around 13,500 places of interest viewable within the App including Ben Nevis, the Isle of Syke, Loch Ness and Eilean Donan Castle.
