Screenberry

Screenberry is an application designed to enable remote control capability over fulldome content playback.

Screenberry transforms the iPad into a fully featured control interface for the Fulldome Media Server by Front Pictures. It is the key component of the FP digital projection system for planetariums and digital fulldome theaters.

This application eliminates the need for a stationary operator desk and makes it possible to control the planetarium (digital theater) from any place inside or outside of the dome through a Wi-Fi network. This improves the infrastructure of the digital theater and provides convenience for the administrator and presenters.

Screenberry is not intended for public use. It is exclusively compatible with a Fulldome Media Server (hardware), providing high value for operators of planetariums and digital fulldome theaters.

The application provides a stable and smooth user experience and has the following features:
- browsing through the server’s media library;
- managing playlists and playback control;
- auto-calibrating the projection system;
- capturing an external live video signal;
- turning off the projection system/initiating system restart;
- turning off/on the projectors.
