The SecureNT application is an initiative of the Northern Territory Government and was developed with financial support from the Northern Territory Disaster Reliance Fund.

The app provides information on preparing for and getting through emergency situations in the Northern Territory including emergency shelter locations in major centres, a list of what you should include in an emergency kit and links to official Northern Territory alerts and warnings.

The information made available on this secureNT application is provided solely for information purposes to assist in the preparation for and dealing with emergency situations in the Northern Territory. Local conditions may vary and you should always follow the direction of Police, Fire and Emergency Service staff.

You should not rely on this application alone for updates or information during an emergency situation. If telecommunication or electricity services are interrupted you may not be able to access web based information. Stay tuned to local media and ensure a battery operated radio is included as part of your emergency kit.
