The Sepsis Challenge is a powerful educational game that uses colourful graphics to highlight the early signs of sepsis, key facts and figures plus advice on what to do if you suspect someone has sepsis. It was developed in partnership with Health Education England and e-Learning for Healthcare to help frontline staff in health and social care respond more effectively to sepsis.

Wendy Reid, Executive HEE’s Director of Education and Quality, National Medical Director, said: "In England alone we are seeing 123,000 each year with approximately 37,000 deaths annually. The alarming figures highlight the need to ensure our healthcare staff have the tools to help them spot signs and ensure patients are treated quickly. Everyone has a role to play and early identification and management is key to reducing deaths from sepsis.”
