This simple Seccom Global application can be used to authenticate with participating sites and achieves genuinely strong Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an alternative to passwords, SMS of One-Time PINs (OTPs) or tokens.
SGToken allows users to:
• register their phone or tablet to prove the presence of ‘something they have’
• use a secret PIN that is never revealed or entered (the ‘something they know’).
Since the user’s PIN is never revealed, the same PIN and phone can be used safely for multiple participating sites and accounts for optimal convenience while avoiding the risks of password re-use or similarity.
The SGToken has been developed in partnership with Token One Pty Ltd.
