App Store Description

The year is 1500 CE, in feudal Japan. Samurai are fighting wars. Fish are being turned into sushi. China sucks. Life goes on.

But, disrupting the relative peace of constant famine and war, is a massive battle being fought right under the noses of Japanese civilians. Come nighttime, roofs and streets become the battleground for hordes of highly-trained, silent assassins.

That's you.

Play as a ninja-- better known as a Shadow Shinobi-- as you attempt to assassinate as many wealthy shoguns as possible. Think of yourself like a Japanese Robin Hood, except instead of robbing the rich and giving to the poor, you just beat up the rich.

However, nobody would ever want to play a game just about senselessly attacking people. For this reason, "Shadow Shinobi" also has the lore behind it to justify all the senseless violence. Rivaling Bioshock, Elder Scrolls, Neopets, and even World of Warcraft in its complex backstories and character arcs, "Shadow Shinobi" explores themes of love, lust, adultery, promiscuity, cheating, and faithlessness. The tale itself begins in the midst of a very complex love-triangle-fiasco with Emperor Tokugawa's wife, after multiple dramatic betrayals and lovers' quarrels (please see our wiki page for more information).

For this reason, while you are assassinating shoguns, you also have assassins after you. It's all very convoluted when you consider that those assassins probably have assassins after them, too, but such is life in Japan.

Immerse yourself in the world of game N's Shadow Shinobi, and enjoy an experience unlike any other, for at least a minute or two.
