Everyone loves a group dinner event aka pot luck. Everyone, that is, except the organiser who has to coordinate endless phone calls, emails and text messages to coordinate all of the food and items needed to make the event a success.

Let ShareMeals put the fun back into being an event organiser.

ShareMeals helps you create group dining events and lets the people you invite volunteer to bring the food and other items you have requested. Only people you invite are able to see and participate in your events.

Event creation is as simple as choosing an event name, theme, date and time, and creating some food items you would like people to bring. You can even use your previous events to create a new event

Send invitations to your event to anyone in your Contacts app that has an email address. If they are already a ShareMeals user they will receive a notification from which they can launch the app. For people who are not app users the app will create an email for you to send to them. You'll be able to track whether people are attending, send reminders and cancel invitations.

People with invites to your event can sign up to bring some or all of the food items you've requested. You as the organizer can easily see progress on all of the requested items and make changes or even delete them if needed.

A history of your contributions to events is available under MyContributions.

Throughout the entire process participants are advised of updates and progress through push notifications.
