Shelf-Life: Utilities

Shelf-Life is a unique app that provides food scientists and technicians alike with a number of utilities that enable them to easily:

•  Identify additives associated with different food types and their permissible levels according to the Codex Alimentarius
•  Identify Acidity and Water Activity of a number of food products based on FDA standards
•  Evaluate the impact of Acidity and Water Activity on food safety according to FDA standards
•  Calculate the Accelerated Aging Time Duration (AATD) of food product packaging to simulate the effects of real-time ageing
