Shell Squad Games by Hatch is a free app created exclusively for children ages 3 – 5 years and is part of the iStartSmart Learning System by Hatch. Shell Squad Games by Hatch helps children build foundational literacy and math school readiness skills. Progress monitoring data is automatically transferred over to the Hatch Report Management System (RMS) online. Software features include:
- Personalized Learning with Photo Login for up to 32 children in two classroom sessions (a.m. and p.m.)
- Classroom Setup Wizard
- 56 different Scaffolded Game Sets in 18 Skill Areas
- View individualized Progress Monitoring results on Classroom and Administrative Dashboards in the Hatch
RMS

Capture authentic data to monitor child progress during child-directed game play to support ongoing assessment requirements in the early learning classroom. Access detailed information across 9 literacy and math skill areas with data that is sent directly through a wireless connection to the Hatch RMS. Log into the Hatch RMS website from any computer with web access to review progress monitoring data.

Security/Confidentiality
To maintain security and confidentiality, all data captured and recorded during child play remains within the app until sent to Hatch RMS online. Data captured using the app cannot be sent anywhere other than to Hatch RMS online. Files captured using other apps cannot be transferred into the Shell Squad Games by Hatch app.

Who Can Use This App
This app is designed for use with the Hatch RMS online progress monitoring system. Users must have a Hatch RMS account. The app is designed for use by a teacher (setup only) and young children.
