Scanning can be performed manually or automatically thanks to a document detection tool. Image cleaning features are part of the application: straightening, black border removal, auto-rotation, dots removal, etc.
Shoot & Prove takes pictures and scan text documents at once. You only need to aim the document with the smartphone's camera and the application will scan it automatically. The images are converted into a PDF document and creates an electronic original that constitutes conclusive proof.
You can also drive your favorite Wifi scanner in order to scan pages by bulk from and to your smartphone. Supported scanners:
- HP : https://developers.hp.com/mobile-scan-sdk/supported-devices
- Kodak Alaris : S2000w and i11x0WN series
- Fujitsu ScanSnap: https://www.scansnapit.com/uk/produits
Each captured page is timestamped and geolocated, enabling to prove Who captured the document, Where and When this document was created. Eventually, a fingerprint definitively seals the information.
