Shri Kamathenu Thanga Maligai was founded in 1979 by Mr. V. Sivalingam as a jewellery showroom. He built and worked on it with his own effort and made it one of the best jewellery stores. Mr. V. Sivalingam introduced the highest purity in gold jewellery, 916 KDM in 1999 at Vandavasi, Tamil Nadu. Now the management is handled by Mr. Prabhakaran Sivalingam.
