Sick-Share

SickShare is a free social networking app that will allow patients and families to connect with other patients and families experiencing similar medical conditions. Searches will automatically connect the user to other users nearby with the same medical conditions on user profile.

In addition users can use SickShare to

· Add their medical conditions or medical interests on their profile

· Search for any medical condition to find users nearby who have a similar medical condition listed on their profile

· Add each other as friends and then private message each other to discuss common symptoms, treatments, local support groups and other recommendations

· Post on public discussion boards about important medical issues and comment or like each others posts.

Good things happen when patients and families support each other in our neighborhood. Together we can improve patient and family experience both in the hospital and at home.
