Siedle Mobile-App for SGM

The Siedle app for Smart Gateway Mini turns the iPhone or iPad into a mobile upgrade of an In-Home door intercom from Siedle. The app has been specially developed for the requirements of door communication. Its functions correspond to those of a Siedle indoor station. It receives the door call, provides a live video image, establishes a speech connection and opens the door. Naturally with all the benefits of built-in security and every convenience, for instance a video memory. The video image is immediately available. The speech quality fulfils Siedle's stringent standards, and the door is opened by pressing the familiar key symbol with a fingertip.

The Siedle app for Smart Gateway Mini is the mobile complement to a door intercom system and does not replace an indoor device. For this reason, Siedle recommends including a wired indoor station in your system planning alongside the app.

For operation of this Siedle app, Siedle Scope or the Smart Gateway Mini is required in connection with the In-Home bus installation system. For more information, refer to the website.

System requirements:
- Smart Gateway Mini with latest software version (SGM 650-...) (www.siedle.com)
- Mobile device with operating system iOS 10 or higher
- Functional camera on the mobile device (necessary for scanning the QR code during the registration process).
- The time synchronization of the Smart Gateway Mini must be performed via the Internet (via the router).
- The time zone in the Smart Gateway Mini must be set according to the operating location.
- For operation on the Siedle server, the Smart Gateway Mini can be operated in the local network either with a static IP address or via DHCP.
- Connection to the Internet (Smart Gateway Mini and every mobile device) with 1 MBit/s transmission speed each (send / receive).
- The ports required for operation must not be explicitly blocked in the router or must be explicitly allowed (depending on the firewall type in the router). In the case of commercially available routers for private use, no separate release settings are usually required.
- Optional: The use of different device names is recommended to differentiate mobile devices.

Registration of mobile devices with the Siedle App:
The first mobile device is registered via the Smart Gateway Mini and becomes the main subscriber exclusively. You can register up to 3 additional mobile devices via the main subscriber. The names of all registered mobile devices are displayed to the main subscriber in the "Registration" submenu of the Siedle App.
Tip: To distinguish between the different mobile devices in the main subscriber, you should assign an individual name to each mobile device (e.g. iPhone [name]) before registering it with the Siedle App service (Siedle Server).
