Sign Along
What is it about?
Sign Along was designed with the goal of making live events more accessible to those who are deaf or hard of hearing. To accomplish this, the application allows ASL interpreters to create a profile, upload videos of their work, and apply to events that are interested in having an interpreter. Events can submit applications to be featured on Sign Along and use the service to find an interpreter. Anyone can view these events and vote for their favorite interpreters to perform.
App Store Description
Sign Along was designed with the goal of making live events more accessible to those who are deaf or hard of hearing. To accomplish this, the application allows ASL interpreters to create a profile, upload videos of their work, and apply to events that are interested in having an interpreter. Events can submit applications to be featured on Sign Along and use the service to find an interpreter. Anyone can view these events and vote for their favorite interpreters to perform.
Through this process, we hope to simplify the process of connecting events with ASL interpreters to make events more accessible.
