Signer - AI Sign Translator

Introducing Signer! Automated translation of American Sign Language (ASL) into speech and text in real-time using artificial intelligence. Signer is your personal ASL assistant which can help facilitate conversation between those who are hard of hearing and those who do not understand ASL.

NOTE: Signer is still in early stages of development and this is a Beta version. The AI system is still being refined.

Signer uses AI to recognize ASL gestures from your iPhone or iPad's camera. The app currently supports 10 of the most common gestures used in basic conversation. Gestures will be added on an on-going basis and the AI is trained in a data driven manner using gestures by native ASL users.

Tips when using Signer:
• Make sure your ringer is on when using the audio output feature
• Signer performs best when used in the normal camera mode (not selfie mode)
• View the supported ASL gestures in the app before using Signer
• Perform gestures in full view of the camera
