First, Simili takes into account the tastes and preferences of everyone in a group and makes restaurant recommendations. The options Simili provides are based on the similarities and overlap in the preferences of all people in the group, with a goal of maximizing group happiness. These options can be edited, if desired.

Next, Simili facilitates a vote - giving a voice to those who don't usually speak up, and preventing back-and-forth group conversations that go nowhere.

Users can also vote to select a preferred date and time for the event, so the "when" and "where" are decided in just one step.
