App Store Description
In our project, we aim to use psychological theory to design digital indices and test their ability to predict suicide ideation and psychiatric hospital readmission in high-risk individuals: psychiatric patients after discharge.
For this project, we will install an app on participants' smartphones, which will be running for 4 weeks after they are discharged from the hospital.
EMA: This app will ask participants questions about suicidal ideation and relevant psychological variables 5 times a day for 4 consecutive weeks.
Passive mobile sensing: The app will also contain passive mobile sensing, registering variables such as walking time and space, general activity, time not moving/at home and social connectedness.
(This module is under development)
Digital coach: The app will have a digital coach (SIMON) who guides participants through the whole process.
