App Store Description

SK8 Online is a new skateboarding simulator in the world of mobile games that gives skaters all around the world the ability to play head-to-head games of skate with over 100 flatground tricks using one touch, "flick it" thumb controls!

FEATURES:

Over 100 flatground, skateboarding tricks.
Real board sounds recorded by jbooogie!
Play online against a friend or random opponent (public/private games).
One touch controls -- swoop/flick your thumb in specific patterns to perform tricks.
Manual board catches -- the longer you wait, the more flips/spins your board will do!

RULES OF SK8:

Sketchy tricks grant you one redo.
Bailed tricks grant you one redo on the final letter.
Ollies/nollies aren't considered tricks.
No repeating tricks in the same game.
Not matching your opponent's trick gives you a letter.
The first to receive all three SK8 letters, loses the game.
You have up to 60 seconds to perform a trick each turn, or else you forfeit the game.

HOW TO PERFORM BASIC TRICKS:

To perform an ollie/nollie (which aren't considered tricks when playing against an opponent), start off by using your thumb to tap and hold anywhere on the screen. A single joystick will appear with your thumb being positioned in the center. Move your thumb straight down/up until you reach the outer perimeter of the joystick (down for ollies, up for nollies). Then, "flick it" straight back in the opposite direction and release.

To perform kickflips/heeflips, flick your thumb off to either side (instead of flicking directly straight back) and release. The direction in which you need to flick depends upon your board stance (in regular stance, flick left for kickflips and right for heelflips; in goofy stance, flick right for kickflips and left for heelflips).

To perform shuvits, swoop your thumb around the joystick perimeter (instead of flicking) and release.

HOW TO LAND TRICKS:

All tricks must be manually caught for your trick to count. That is to say, you must tap somewhere on the screen while your trick is still in motion in order to land on your board. Depending on when exactly you tap, your trick will be considered as bailed, sketchy, good, great, or perfect. Only good and above counts as a trick.

HOW TO PERFORM ADVANCED TRICKS:

Combining shuvits with flips and manual catching is your key to success. By doing so, you can perform tricks such as: Tre Double Flips, Nollie Lazer Double Flips, or even Nollie 720 Inward Double Heels (*phew* that's a mouthful!).

To combine a shuvit with a flip, instead of initially moving your thumb straight down/up, move your thumb down/up at a diagonal. Then, swoop your thumb around the joystick perimeter until it is either straight down/up, before, finally, flicking your thumb in your desired flip direction.

Starting with a slight diagonal allows you to do 180-degree flip tricks or 360-degree double flip tricks; whereas, starting with a bigger diagonal allows you do 360-degree flip tricks or 720-degree double flip tricks.
