Skriva for Schools

Skriva is the first calligraphy application that uses Brazilian cursive font as a basis for handwriting teaching. Skriva is also an important ally in the literacy phase, helping to introduce the practice of cursive handwriting associated with technology, keeping the child's focus and interest in the activity.

Features that you will find using Skriva:

- Brazilian cursive font with the use of the ligatures
- Practice uppercased and lowercased letters, shapes, numbers, words, and repetition of letters through the calligraphy notebook
- Different font sizes to customize the activity according to the child's practice
- It is possible to enable and disable sounds, as you feel more comfortable
- Visual and audible feedback at each activity
- Possibility to use a ruled canvas in the practice of letters and words

More features of Skriva:

- No login is required to do the activities, so it's okay if iPads are shared between kids. It's simple, just open the app and start practicing!
- The application is available both in English and Portuguese. Change the language in the device settings, and Skriva can be used to combine writing practice with learning a new language!
- When practicing a letter, an animation is presented that shows the path that must be followed to draw that letter. That way, the child has more autonomy in the learning process. And it also reduces the need for help from an educator.
