Slavic Soundwalking is an interdisciplinary literary program based on digitalization, sound design, and literary networking of new Slavic language expressions and forms in Croatia, Slovenia, and Serbia, aimed at developing cultural cooperation, strengthening cultural flow, and promoting South Slavic linguistic diversity.
Through digitalization and sound design, this project provides artists and cultural professionals the opportunity to acquire new skills and present their works in a special format that freely spreads across borders into countries whose languages are Slavic.
The content of the SSW mobile application includes contemporary unpublished short stories with urban themes written by Croatian, Serbian, and Slovenian authors. The mobile application works on the principle of geolocation, allowing users to listen to content while interacting in public spaces. All stories are available in five languages, including sign language.
Empower your well-being by effortlessly measuring your health through your phone. With 'Nature Metrics,' your device becomes a holistic tool, seamlessly tracking your steps, providing weather forecasts, and even gauging environmental noise, enhancing your journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Creative Europe program and implemented by a consortium of partners:
Cultural information center (Croatia), YELO for interdisciplinary artistic process (Croatia) Heartefact fondation (Serbia), Cultural center Danilo Kiš (Slovenia),
Croatian Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Croatia) as associated partner.
Views and opinions expressed are however those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor EACEA can be held responsible for them.
