Discover an effective way to help a young person with sleep problems! Aimed at parents or adults caring for or supporting children and young people of school age. Including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

The app allows you to see if a young person’s current quality of sleep is the best it can be and gives you helpful activities to improve this. It includes a learning area where you can increase your knowledge on how to help a child who can not sleep. For parents and professionals.


Jointly developed by Hunrosa Sleep Consultancy and NASS (National Association of Independent Schools and Non-Maintained Special Schools). Hunrosa provided evidence based information about children's sleep and NASS used its knowledge of the education sector. Using it combines the organisations’ knowledge of up-to-date sleep science and practice within schools including special educational needs.

If you are wondering how to help a young person who cannot sleep, you will love this app. Sleep is crucial for learning, emotional regulation, good mental and physical health. Without sleep we are not at our best. This is so important for young people as they develop and grow.

Why Sleep Wise?
Sleep Wise uses content tried and tested in a clinical setting and with real families. If you are health or education professional the knowledge base will equip you to tackle other sleep problems in young people going forward.

Sleep Wise works - the content in the app is used on a daily basis to treat young people. Hunrosa submits regular evaluations to the NHS evidencing the effectiveness of their sleep programmes.

Mark your priorities. Everyone has their own goal, decide upon a method to improve sleep and set a reminder to review your progress.

Invite others. Family members can be part of the plan to help a young person to sleep. Also, as requested by healthcare and education professionals, include colleagues so that a team of people can support a child to improve their sleep.

Be safe. Our app does not gather data about your child. No health data is stored.
