App Store Description

• Daily use for all safety-related school incidents (i.e., active shooter, acts of nature, fire,
bomb, gas leak, student behavior, medical, and property incidents – with priority levels
including emergency, urgent, soon, and today) so administrators and staff regularly use and
remember use options when a real emergency strikes; “Use it so you don’t lose it!”
• Single-button press with immediate school-wide and 911 Dispatch notifications for active
shooter emergencies
• Dynamic notification messages, response plans and reunification points to increase safety
when existing plans fail or increase potential danger (e.g., Parkland School shooting)
• Fully customizable incident details, incident managers/responders, response plans,
notification groups, and first aid plans to best meet schools’ needs
• Data collection and reporting to drive decision-making for district/school policies,
emergency planning, student or teacher interventions, and legal cases
• Student tracking during emergencies including “in my proximity, missing, absent” options
and school-level tracking
• District and 911 Dispatch versions for monitoring incidents
• Customer discovery process prior to completing development to ensure end-users’ needs are
considered throughout design, development and testing process
• CEO’s education background, expertise, and national, state, and district-level connections
• Intuitive, user-friendly, “usability out of the gate”

SOS Safe at School is the only software as a service (SaaS) or mobile application that can do all of the following:
• Report, manage, and track all incidents that affect student and staff safety within a school,
including lower priority, urgent, and emergency incidents,
• Promote daily use for reporting and managing all incidents that affect student and staff
safety within a school, so staff will know and remember how to use the system when an
emergency arises,
• Send different notifications to different groups within a school, including 911 dispatch and
district administrators,
• Update emergency response plans and reunification points in real time, with notifications
sent to all staff or different notifications sent to different groups within a school, including
911 dispatch and district administrators,
• Include 911 dispatch and/or district-level incident monitoring and management systems so
dispatch and/or district administrators can monitor and/or manage all incidents in schools,
• Track incident data for reporting, decision-making for policies and plans, legal needs,
student interventions, teacher support, Safe Schools reporting to meet Federal and State
requirements, etc.,
• Track students who are in an adult’s presence (even when not in assigned classroom),
missing from an assigned location, absent, or picked up by a parent or another adult, with
tracking of people who pick up students from reunification points,
• Integrate with district/school Student Information Systems to regularly update and track
teachers’ and students’ schedules, including assembly schedules or other shortened
schedules, as well as block scheduling for which different days have different schedules, and
• Show real-time status (safe, not safe) of all classrooms and other locations within a building.
