SpeedLap brings professional-grade speed tracking and comprehensive fuel management to your iPhone. Whether you're on a track day, testing your car's performance, managing multiple vehicles, or analyzing fuel consumption patterns, SpeedLap delivers the precision and features you need.

Speed Tracking & Performance

SpeedLap shows your current speed and calculates real-time averages for each section you're timing. Switch between MPH and KM/H instantly, with large, easy-to-read displays that use different colors so you can distinguish between current (green) and average (orange) speeds at a glance.

Lap Timing

Use the built-in stopwatch functionality to time your sections. Hit "Start" to begin tracking, "Lap" to mark a new section, and "Stop" when you're done. Each section gets its own average speed calculation, and everything is saved in your lap history.

Vehicle & Fuel Management

Track fuel consumption, costs, and efficiency across all your vehicles. Store detailed fuel entries including odometer readings, fuel prices, station locations, and optional car computer data (MPG, driving time, average speed). Calculate projected range, cost per mile, and analyze spending patterns with visual charts showing efficiency trends over time.

Dynamic Island Integration

When you minimize SpeedLap, your speeds appear right in the Dynamic Island. The compact view shows "CUR 25" and "67 AVG" so you can monitor your performance without opening the app. Long-press for the full dashboard with lap time and distance.

GPS & Sensor Logging

SpeedLap captures incredibly detailed data - over 30 different measurements per GPS point including your exact position, multiple altitude readings, course and heading information, plus accelerometer and gyroscope data. The app samples motion sensors at 50Hz and calculates G-forces in all directions.

Data Import & Export

Import existing fuel data from JSON format or export everything - speed tracking sessions, fuel records, and sensor data - to CSV, JSON, or direct SQLite database access. Perfect for power users who want complete control over their data and serious performance analysis.

Visual Analytics

Built-in charts show fuel efficiency trends, price fluctuations, monthly spending patterns, and statistical insights including best/worst MPG achievements and cost analysis across all your vehicles.

Privacy & Data Control

Your data stays completely under your control. All speed tracking and fuel data is stored locally using SQLite. Optional iCloud sync backs up to your personal iCloud account only - no third-party servers, no analytics tracking, no data sharing. Export capabilities ensure you're never locked in.
