Spell It!

Spell It! is a FREE Australian made app, designed for teachers to be used in the classroom, or enhance homework. Users can create word lists that are automatically distributed to their subscribers, who learn to spell by playing fun and interactive games. Spell It! will never feature any advertising, and it can be used offline and sync'd when re-connected.

Game Descriptions

Users are encouraged to practice writing their spelling words on a whiteboard as they interact with them during game play.

Think Cover Write Check
An oldie, but a goodie. Students have a go and check their answer. The strategy supports visual knowledge and is taught in many classrooms and used at home.

Find it!
Just by searching for a word, puzzlers are learning to spell. As students search for words they are rehearsing the spelling over and over in their minds as they look for the letters the word contains.

Connect 3
A Spell It! spin on this classic game. Students will practice reading their spelling words with a partner.

Can you spell it?
This game encourages students to use their visual processing to identify the correctly spelled word. Add a timer and challenge a friend!

Order it!
This interactive game requires students to order their words into alphabetical order. Great for dictionary training in younger years and building a skill needed in adult life!

Which word will win?
This 1-3 player game encourages students to read, and write down their word as it pops up on the screen. The first to the top of the screen, wins!
