Gegründet 1952 spielt der Verein bis heute traditionell mit Marschtrommeln, Querflöten, Lyren, großen Trommeln und Becken. Er begleitet hauptsächlich Schützenvereine bei ihren Festen. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind aber auch der Ochtruper Kinderrosenmontagsumzug sowie musikalische Frühschoppen und Freundschaftstreffen.
